Frank Ray Co-Owner & Managing Partner
Frank Ray has built a distinguished career spanning the full spectrum of the global marine fuel industry—from fleet-wide procurement and strategic sourcing to physical supply, trading, brokerage, logistics, and commercial operations.
From 2007 to 2016, Frank served as Global General Manager of Fuel Purchasing for Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd., one of the world’s largest cruise companies. In this senior global role, he was personally responsible for the procurement of fuel and lubricants for the company’s broader fleet, managing purchasing requirements across more than 200 ports worldwide. His responsibilities demanded an in-depth understanding of global fuel markets, supplier relationships, pricing, contract negotiations, logistics, quality, and the complex operational requirements of a large international fleet.
Following Royal Caribbean, Frank joined Cockett Marine Oil US as a Senior Supply Trader and Broker, where he was responsible for the supply desk covering the Americas and Caribbean. In this role, he managed physical supply requirements across multiple markets, working directly with suppliers, traders, brokers, and vessel operators to execute marine fuel transactions efficiently and competitively.
Frank then transitioned to the physical supply side of the industry, joining GCC Supply & Trading as a Bunker Sales Specialist supporting its physical operation in the U.S. Gulf. Working closely with GCC subsidiary Texas International Terminals and Refinery, Frank was responsible for marketing and selling marine fuels while managing the complete bunker book from beginning to end. His responsibilities included sales, pricing, nominations, load planning, barge scheduling and logistics, delivery coordination, claims resolution, and back-office administration.
This breadth of experience gives Frank a rare 360-degree perspective of the marine fuel business. He has operated from the position of the major fleet buyer, worked from the trading and brokerage side, and managed the physical supply and execution of bunkers. That experience enables him to understand not only how marine fuel is bought and sold, but how every transaction must ultimately be priced, sourced, scheduled, delivered, and executed successfully.
Today, that experience forms a cornerstone of Key Marine Americas’ approach: bringing sophisticated global fuel-market expertise and real-world physical supply experience directly to its customers.
Vivian Quintana Co-Owner & Managing Partner
Born in Puerto Rico and raised in South Florida, Vivian earned her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida and brings more than a decade of experience in the marine fuel and bunker industry. Fluent in English and Spanish, she has built her career on strong industry relationships, market expertise, and delivering tailored solutions to customers across the Western Hemisphere.
Vivian began her career with Sea Bunkering Americas in 2008, developing a strong understanding of the marine fuel markets throughout North and South America and the Caribbean. In 2012, she joined Cockett Marine Oil’s newly established U.S. office as a broker and trader, where she spent eight years leveraging her market knowledge and supplier relationships to provide competitive pricing and customized bunker solutions.
Now with Key Marine Americas, she continues to bring her industry experience, extensive network, and customer-focused approach, delivering reliable, high-quality service in an evolving marine fuel market.
Patrick Lehmann Founding Senior Advisor
Patrick Lehmann, Founding Senior Advisor of Key Marine Americas, has more than three decades of experience in the bunker industry.
Patrick’s career began in 1984 as a trader and supplier with Jean-François Gyselinck at Petrole Ocean in Paris, France. He started as an intern, doing accounting and office work and during his eight years there, worked his way up to become a trader.
In 1992 Patrick was offered a position at Copemer, Paris with André Demart. Here he broadened his experience and worked as a broker on a worldwide basis and became a partner in the company.
Patrick took his interest in brokering with him when he moved to the US in 2000, where he started work with John Colliton at Sea Bunkering Americas. For the next twelve years, Patrick worked primarily with people in the western hemisphere.
Then in 2012, it was time for another change and Patrick began work as a broker and trader with Cockett Marine US / Sea Marine Fuels. At Cockett Marine U.S., Patrick took on the responsibilities of manager and president of the office.

In 2017 Patrick decided it was time for a new challenge — to start his own firm. Patrick’s goal with his new company is to provide his clients the high-quality, personal service of a small business AND extensive knowledge and decades of experience in the business.
